Icarus series 2 is a 12 mm thick 5 plies blade designed for “combi” players inspired by Nimatsu tsunami Combi offensive. The core is made of 6mm balsa, 2 intermediate layers of balsa and the outer layers of limba 1 side and Ayous other side. The blade gives different speed depending on the outer layerand is ideal for a drive & block & smash game, mostly when used with antispin, long pimples or pips out in combination with a smooth rubber. The ball is returned precise and fast. Being a rigid blade combines well with soft rubber. It’s in our opinion a blade mostly for all out attackers.
